Privacy policy

WeekendIndex.com, operated by Polling Inc., is a public information site, and we keep data collection to a minimum.

What we collect

We do not ask for names, emails or accounts, and we do not run advertising. We use StatCounter for anonymous, aggregate traffic analytics, such as page views, referring sites and approximate region, to see which pages are useful. StatCounter may set a cookie to count returning visits; see StatCounter's own privacy policy for details.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or share your data, and we do not build advertising profiles. The site is the same for everyone; nothing on it is personalised.

Cookies and local storage

Aside from the StatCounter analytics cookie, the site saves a couple of small preferences in your browser: your light or dark theme, and your chosen chart timeframe. These stay on your device and are never sent to us.

Third parties

Some pages link out to other sites (for example a fund provider); their privacy practices are their own. The site is served through a content-delivery network, which processes standard request logs to deliver pages.
