What are the stock market hours?
The NYSE and Nasdaq regular session is 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern, Monday to Friday. Around it, most brokers offer extended sessions, and a growing number now trade overnight as well.

Is the stock market open on Monday?
Usually, yes. The exceptions are the Monday holidays: Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day and Labor Day, plus any holiday observed on a Monday when it falls on a weekend. Usually, yes. The market is closed on Good Friday, and when Independence Day or Christmas falls on a Saturday it is observed on the Friday before. The day after Thanksgiving is a half day that closes at 1:00 PM ET.
